Olivia O’Hara is a writer, a product manager, a consultant, and hard to put in a box.

She grew up mostly homeschooled in Virginia, where she built log forts in the woods, taught herself HTML, and trolled other 10-year-olds on RuneScape.

Her STEM background shapes her work creatively and technically. After completing a BFA at SCAD, she joined the VFX team at Seth MacFarlane’s Fuzzy Door Productions for seasons two and three of The Orville (Fox/Hulu) and the first season of Ted (NBCU/Peacock). She also built a writing and directing portfolio, choosing stories that explore her relationships with technology in politics, heavy industry, and fringe cultures. Her accolades include a Red Dot Award for Communication Design, two Gold American Advertising Awards, a CLIO Award, a Young Ones ADC Award, and a 39th College Television Award nomination. She is a Television Academy Foundation alumnus.

In 2022, Olivia joined Fuzzy Door’s brand-new brain lab Fuzzy Door Tech to oversee product development on ViewScreen, the company's real-time CG software. In her spare time, she continues to write. The latest screenplay, a high-octane drama, samples her experience digging through the delightful entrails of Anonymous, hacktivism, and imageboard culture.

She has two more CVEs than Sam Esmail, and lives in California.
