GABBY GAMMON
PRODUCER
Los Angeles, USA
Gabby Gammon is an east coast native, an eldest child and an up and coming producer. Her down-to-earth roots allow her to think outside the box while remaining realistic as she executes a vision. She is a visual artist, also well versed in painting, drawing, and photography. As a passionate creative, she recognizes the elements necessary to make a project live up to its potential.
With a bachelor degree in Film and Media Production from Manhattan College in New York, she got her start in the industry volunteering at different indie film festivals by assessing submissions. She also learned the ropes on set as a production assistant on different short film projects around NYC. As she started to blossom in the industry, while still a student, she began creative directing for a small women-run production company, Magic Dog Productions, where she helped the team develop their personal brand.
When the pandemic started and Gabby’s production plans were put on pause, she set out on an exploration working as crew on yachts, traveling extensively. This re-sparked her love for the ocean, earth, community, people, and adventure. She is determined to keep this mentality within her productions by emphasizing realism, nature and human interaction.
Gabby currently works as the Executive Assistant to the President of PRETTYBIRD and Ventureland, award winning commercial and film production companies. Here, she exercises her strengths of organization, networking and time management in a fast paced environment.
Gabby is also involved in growing Vacationland, a Maine-based indie film production company and collective. Her latest work was producing the pilot episode of The Selectman which will be premiering in upcoming nationwide festivals.
