Antonina is a Colombian born writer-director currently based in Bogotá. As a major advocate for diversity, Antonina is passionate about creating content that explores how human connections shape and influence other people's existence.
After graduating from Savannah College of Art & Design in 2018, Antonina was hired by the National Association of Latino Independent Producers where she worked as a coordinator focusing on the Latino Audiovisual Market.
Currently, Antonina is a Creative Producer at AG Studios Colombia, where she works alongside producer Rodrigo Guerrero in the development and production of international series and films.
Her film The Coffee Vendor was sponsored by the Bogota Short Film Festival after winning their “Work in Progress” Award, and was a finalist for the 2019 Sundance Ignite Fellowship. Her short film Still and Quiet premiered at the Beverly Hills Film Festival, and her visual poem Manifesto was released directly online through the Publication Manifiesta Media on Breast Cancer Awareness Day in 2021.
Outside of AG Studios, Antonina is working independently on the development of her first feature film First Call, a project originating from her time at the Sundance Collab Directing Workshop. She is also working on developing a series titled Mala Junta, which was part of the first Sundance Episodic Intensive cohort in 2022; and Salsa!, which was a finalist for the Screencraft Film Fund 2019 and semifinalist of the Fund of Film Development (FDC) in 2019.
